Since 1999, Speedwell Weather Derivatives (SWD) has provided software and consultancy
to the weather derivative market. SWD provides the Speedwell Weather System to clients in
the banking, energy, fund and insurance sectors in the United States and Europe.
SWD provides consultancy to a wide range of firms in both energy and non-energy sectors
including independent weather risk analysis, weather hedge structuring, independent valuations
and the placement of risk in the primary market.
SWD is authorised and regulated by the UK financial services regulator, the FSA.
